About Corner Pocket
Corner Pocket is a jazz duo from Toronto, Canada. The pianist is Solomon Douglas, and the bassist is generally Chris Arcand. (Other bassists that have taken Arcand's place from time to time have been Ka-Cheong Liu, Bryan Thomas, Jeremy Carriger, Doug Largent, Bob Matthews, Raj Sodhi, and Josh Fialkoff). Corner Pocket was active from May, 2000, until November, 2004, and has performed very sporadically since then. Corner Pocket released one album, Easy Does It, in July, 2001, consisting of live recordings from June, 2000, and April, 2001.
