About Conny Stuart
Conny Stuart is a Dutch singer, entertainer and musical star, who started out as a singer of German songs during WW II. After the war, she joined the cabaret group of Wim Sonneveld, before embarking on a highly succesful musical career. She starred mainly in the musicals written for her by Dutch lightverse writer Annie M.G. Schmidt, such as Heerlijk Duurt Het Langst and Wat Een Planeet. She kept performing well into her seventies, before retiring voluntarily from the theatre.
