About Adèle Bloemendaal
Maria Adèle Hameetman, known as Adèle Bloemendaal (Amsterdam, The Netherlands, January 11, 1933 - January 21, 2017) was a Dutch actress, comedian and singer. After the divorce, in 1957, from her first husband she continued to use his last name. Bloemendaal originally performed with her own name Adèle Hameetman, and later for a short time as Adèle Hamé. Born in the "Jordaan" Amsterdam, Bloemendaal is seen by many as a "liberated woman", who controlled nearly all facets of the theater from serious dramas to carnival hitsongs.
