About Collegium 1704
Czech orchestra Collegium 1704, founded in 1991 by its conductor and cembalist Václav Luks, has earned renown in recent years as an exceptional ensemble on the international early music scene. Later, the project joined vocal ensemble Collegium Vocale 1704. They are focused especially on the crowning baroque era and the works of Czech composer Jan Dismas Zelenka. Their recordings for Supraphon (Zelenka, Reichenauer), Zig-Zag Territoires (Zelenka) and Accent (Zelenka) were thew world premiere recordings
