Colin Scallan is an independent musician, performer, songwriter and producer from Dublin, Ireland. At home (and abroad whenever possible) he gigs almost constantly. His songwriting stems from a wide background of musical influences. His sound has at various times been said to suggest roots of Tom Waits, Van Morrison, Paul Weller, Bowie, Elvis Costello, John Martyn, Neil Young, the list goes on and on.. For Colin a love of the works of many early Motown artists has inspired an approach to record-making which respects 'vintage' techniques
