About Cobolt
Slowcore band formed in Umea, Sweden 1996 by drummer Andreas Nilsson and singer/guitarist Magnus Bjorklund. After six months of being a dynamic power duo, bassplayer Kristoffer Larsson joined the band and a short while later the flamboyant, yet tonally vibrant guitarist Johannes Berglund made the outfit complete. Influences have been diverse and many; bands such as Red House Painters, American Music Club, Idaho, Ride and many others prepared the setting in which the bands sound was created.
