In a magical basement in Seattle 2008 Clockwork Conundrum was formed by Hannah Phillips (guitar, violin, vocals), Alex Thomas (mandolin, percussion), Nate Bade (cello) and Mark Via (Tenor Banjo, Kazorn) and frequently (spontaneously) features other local musicians such as Andrew Kunellis (guitar).
