About Clarence Jones
Clarence M. Jones (1889-1949) was an American ragtime and early jazz pianist, songwriter, orchestra leader and piano teacher. In 1932 he became an arranger, composer and pianist for The Southernaires, composing their signature song “My Old Swanee Home” in 1936.
