About Chron Gen
Chron Gen were a British punk band. Chron Gen were formed in January 1978 in Hitchin, Herts. Ex members of The Condemned and Optional Xtras fused into Chron Gen. The members were Glynn (Baxter) Barber (Vocals/guitarist), Jon JJ Johnson (Drummer) Jon Thurlow (Rhythm guitar) and Pete Dimmock (Bassist). The band released their debut EP "Puppets of War" (also had singles versions of Lies, Chronic Generation, and Mindless Few) With the Success of the EP led to an invitation to join The Exploited
