There are multiple artists who perform under the name "Chris Norman". 1) Yorkshire-born Chris Norman (b. 25 October 1950) is an English singer-songwriter, who first found fame with 70s rock group Smokie, before embarking on a successful solo career. In 1978, Norman had a major hit with "Stumblin' In", recorded as a duet with Suzi Quatro. In 1986, Norman left Smokie and released his first solo hit "Midnight Lady", which topped the charts in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
