About Chris Hopkins
Chris Hopkins was born N.J. (the USA) to 18.4.1972 as a son of a German nut/mother and an American father in Princeton, spent however the majority of its youth in Germany. It enjoyed first classical training on the Cembalo, discovered then however at the age of 13 years the jazz as its passion. Hopkins piano style is rooted in the tradition of the Stride and Swing pianist Fats Waller, teddy Wilson, Earl Hines, Duke Ellington, Mel Powell, Nat King Cole and many other jazz pioneers
