Chicken Shampoo is a five piece indie/metal/new wave band formed in Moscow, Russia. Chicken Shampoo define themselves as purveyors of "dance rock," a term rarely used by English speakers. A quick search online reveals that the phrase is more commonly found among translated, aesthetically challenged projects, trying in some way to marry two incompatible elements. Toward the end of 2008 they released their self-named, six track EP.
