
The granddaughter of accomplished Maltese orchestral violinist Lewis Micallef, pianist Chemayne Micallef was born in Toronto, Canada on June 18th. She made her television debut at the age of six and has won numerous piano competitions and scholarships. Chemayne began composing by age eight and at age fourteen performed a one-hour solo special for T.V. She completed her piano and theory exams with the Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music where she studied with Adelaide Bell.
