About Check Minus
Joe Hensley, also known by his stage name Joe Magnifico, is Check Minus. Joe, is an American artist and producer. He has been a long time drummer in multiple Boise, Idaho bands such as The Suffocation Keep (with Brett Nelson of Built to Spill), eL Dopamine, Exit Fifty-One, Flackjacket, and Eightball Break. Check Minus has been a side project since the early 90's when Joe started recording to 4-track. The music of Check Minus is generally instrumental, however some tracks have featured vocals from Gen H aka Hunny Bunny.
