About Chaotic Youth
The band hailed from Beith in Ayrshire, Scotland and formed in 1980. I was the drummer. Our first ever rehearsal was in my dads garage and I didn't have any drum sticks for my new drum kit which my old man bought me for xmas (40 quid) so I used my mother's wooden spoons...........honestly. The police broke up the rehearsal too, which was comedy. we played loads in the local area and eventually signed to Blackpools Lightbeat records in 1982, recording a 3 track ep Sad Society which is on this site.
