There is more than one band with this name, which is not spelled incorrectly, as it is derived from the name of the minor southern constellation Chamaeleon, not the color-changing lizard. (1) Chamaeleon is an alternative/indie rock band originally from Roswell, Georgia. The band was formed in 2003, releasing one EP, Rushmore EP, and one full-length album, Dangerous Tree Removal. Chamaeleon's music is inspired from artists such as Radiohead, Pixies, Placebo, and Sigur Rós.
