About Cathy Crescendo
cathy Crescendo (cC for short) originally started in St Cloud, Minnesota as Jacob Champlin's solo side project from his band Allies in Chaos sometime in 2005. Champlin wanted to write about, for, and with the people with whom he came into contact day to day. One of the first cC songs was penned by Champlin and his younger sister and titled "Grace and I". It wasn't long before Champlin's friend Thomas joined in offering back up vocals and guitar. The project was no longer a solo gig.
