There are 2 bands known as Catholic Girls: 1) 80's all-girl rock band, 2) hardcore/punk band from Denver, Colorado. 1) The Catholic Girls were an all-girl band signed to MCA Records in the early 80's. Their self-titled album spawned one video that received medium rotation on MTV, "Boys Can Cry." The band was a cult favorite on the East Coast and opened for well known acts such as The Kinks and Tom Petty. After their album was released, they headlined a grueling six-month national tour
