About Cat Ballou
Cat Ballou is a German Kölschrock band. They became known in 2012 with Et jitt kei Wood. The three band members Oliver Niesen, Dominik Schönenborn and Kevin Wittwer already played together with drummer Michael Kraus in school bands. Cat Ballou, named after the feature film of the same name, was founded in Bergisch Gladbach east of Cologne in 1999. They performed regionally and their first album Schokolade was released in 2008. The quartet had their first big success in the same year as the winner of the Cologne band competition.
