About Casino Shanghai
Casino Shanghai is a techno-pop band founded in the 80's by Ulalume, Carlos Robledo & Walter Schmidt when they worked on a set of tunes for a farewell party of Ulalume at Club 9. They became favorites at Club 9 and were part of a great cultural change in MX and its music scene. Later and Humberto Alvarez joined the band. Casino Shanghai made various controversial appearances on TV when a band without a drummer or guitarist was unheard of. All members had been in different notorious bands in the local scene.
