
About Caryl Parry Jones
Caryl Parry Jones (born 16 April 1958) is a Welsh singer-songwriter, broadcaster, actress, author and composer. One of the outstanding Welsh language artists of her generation, and a singer-composer of great versatility, she has appeared on TV in a variety of roles, as a presenter, actress, comedienne as well as a singer. Jones first came to prominence while still a pupil at Ysgol Glan Clwyd, St. Asaph, as a member of the SIDAN singing group, and their EPs and album (‘Teulu Yncl Sam’) still stand the test of time remarkably well.
