About Carter Peace Mission
Carter Peace Mission are a band from Coronado (San Diego) California. Active during most of the 90s, they broke up in 2000. The band had two full lengths and some 7" releases, some of which were released on Mutant Pop. Similar regional bands include Swindle and Jon Cougar Concentration Camp (the latter of which they collaborated with. Chris Fields of JCCC was also drummer for CPM at one point, and the two bands covered each other songs.) They encompass the catchy pop punk that was somewhat common at the time in San Diego
