
About Carly Rae Jepsen
Carly Rae Jepsen (born November 21, 1985) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress. She trained in musical theatre throughout her school years and at university, and first gained widespread attention after finishing third on the fifth season of Canadian Idol in 2007. In 2008, she released her debut studio album, "Tug of War", a folk-influenced record initially issued in Canada and later internationally in 2011. Jepsen achieved global recognition in 2012 with the single "Call Me Maybe"
