
About Cannonball Adderley Sextet
Cannonball Adderley (1928-1975) was a jazz saxophonist of the hard bop era of the 1950s and 1960s. As a band leader he formed his own Cannonball Adderley Quintet (which had two different line-ups over the years) and subsequently, around 1962, the Cannonball Adderley Sextet, also featuring his brother Nat Adderley.
