Cancerslug is a band based in Huntsville, Alabama, renowned within the Horror Punk and Gothic/Death Rock communities. Established in 1996, the band has undergone several alterations in its lineup over the years, with Alex Story serving as the sole enduring member. Adopting the moniker 'Cancerslug' in 1999, the band's lyrical themes frequently explore topics such as misanthropy, depression, the occult, necrophilia, rape, murder, lycanthropy, violence, inhumanity, hate, love, wrath, anger, and the end of the world.
