About buriedbutstillbreathing
Formed in San Diego in 2018 by AJ Tartol and Chris Floyd, buriedbutstillbreathing originally started out as a bedroom project. Chris’ departure from the band after a short time sparked a full 5-piece lineup and a tighter sound. Their influences include On Broken Wings, Disembodied, Martyr AD, early Norma Jean and even myspace-era deathcore such as Animosity and As Blood Runs Black as well as various death metal and hardcore bands. Having released their first record in March 2020 titled Exhumation
