About Built Upon Frustration
To make it short.....Forming in early '97, Built Upon Frustration hit the Pittsburgh scene hard. A successful 2 song demo caught the ears of Da'Core Records and the band signed on. Da'Core released Built Upon's first full length titled "Low Life Crew". After a successful 2 year run, the band unfortunately broke up and guitarist Derek Kovacs went on to join PAHC legends No Retreat (www.da-core.com for more info). In 2001, guitarist Eric Klinger (Pro-Pain/Spudmonsters) and Kovacs decided to colaborate on a new project.
