About Buda Folk Band
The Buda Folk Band was formed by enthusiastic professional musicians in 2007 in Hungary. The members of the Band have all started to play together in music schools, where teachers inculding the world-famous Muzsikás Ensemble, such as Sándor Csoóri and Péter Éri were for best guidance in studying traditional folk music. From the beginning, our masters told us thats traditional Hungarian folk music must be learned from first hand, from the villages the music lived once.
