Bruford was the group name used for drummer Bill Bruford's first few solo albums. The band initially included Dave Stewart on keyboards, Jeff Berlin on bass, and Allan Holdsworth on guitar. For Feels Good to Me (1978) the band was joined by singer Annette Peacock and Kenny Wheeler on flugelhorn. One of a Kind (1979) found the band stripped down to the core quartet. For the live album, The Bruford Tapes, and Gradually Going Tornado (1980), Holdsworth was replaced by John Clark.
