He has released 4 studio albums (one of which - Torches is a two-disc album) and an EP under the name Brian Borcherdt. He has also played in Burnt Black, Trephines and By Divine Right. The Moth EP was an album about the suicide of his best friend, Marcus Boudreau, singer of Christopher Robin Device and Project 23. His other two earlier albums, The Remains of Brian Borcherdt Vol. 1 & 2, are not as conceptualized.
