About Brass Buttons
The Brass Buttons hailed fron Rochester,New York, and were friends of the Rascals guitarist Gene Cornish.Born in Ottawa,Cornish later moved to Rochester with his mother,who was a respected big-band vocalist.After stints with such groups as The Unbeatables and Joey Dee & The Starliters,Cornish formed The Young Rascals with Felix Cavaliere,Dino Danelli and Brigati in 1965.By 1968 the band-by then known as The Rascals-had formed their own production company,called Peace.
