About Braille Party
Braille Party was a three member punk band from Maryland, U.S.A Members: Matt Riedl (vocals, bass) Lou Gigger (guitar) Gerry Rolfe (drums) Their style was completely different from the D.C. hardcore and the Boston HC in the early 80s. It ranged from short punk smashers to melodic pop influenced songs to even hardcore. All these styles were combined on their only LP Welcome to Maryland in 1984. They also contributed to the Bouncing Babies Compilation and a Flipside Vinyl compilation.
