
About Bowes Road Band
The Bowes Road Band formed at Hornsey College of Art & Design in London, United Kingdom, in the early 1970s. They released the lone album Back in the HCA in 1973 as part of their final school project. Only 50 copies were manufactured, with 10 copies going to each of the band-members and 10 to the university. Band members were: Dave Pescod (electric and acoustic guitars, vocals), Ted Rockley (alto sax, clarinet, piano, synthesizer), Phil Rawle (bass guitar, lead guitar, vocals) and Alan Lewis (drums, vocals).
