About Botanist
There are at least three artists/groups by the name Botanist: 1. Botanist is a one-man black metal project featuring avant-garde instrumentation that utilizes only vocals, drums, and hammered dulcimer. The band is based out of San Francisco, CA and was founded in 2009. In 2011 Botanist released its debut album, a 2xCD on tUMULt entitled "I: The Suicide Tree / II: A Rose From the Dead." The followup, "III: Doom in Bloom / Allies", was released in 2012
