About Bora Rokovic
Writing, composing and arranging for bigbands is for Bora Rokovic the ideal occuoation. Born 1925 in Yugoslavia. And although his music studies in Belgrade forced him to follow a classical route, jazz was in fact the be-all and end-all for him. he came to Germany in 1954, where Kurt Edelhagen engaged him as arranger in 1957. The LP "Ultra Marine", recorded in 1971 in Villingen / MPS Studio, with Peter Trunk on Bass and Tony Inzalaco on drums, became a collectors item.
