About Bonde Do Tigrão
One of the greatest representatives of newest Funk Carioca is Leandro Dionísio dos Santos Moraes (lead vocal). Born in 1980, in Cidade de Deus, one of the most violent cities from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil he created "Bonde do Tigrão". The group also includes dancers Gustava Pereira da Silva and Carlos Magno da Silva Gonzo. Their DJ Carlos Nascimento dos Santos, has been working with them for over five years. Bonde do Tigrao was the first funk group to be singed by Sony Music in 1999.
