About Bob Calloway
Bob Callaway (also Bob Calloway) was a singer and guitarist. His backing band had various names: The Hepcats, The Spiro Hepcats, The Clicks and The Chicks, but they were always the same band. Its members were Charles Martin (drums), James Neely (bass), Jimmy Carter (trumpet), and R.C. Gamble (saxophone). The Spiro Hepcats were named for their home town of Spiro, Oklahoma.
