About Blumfeld
Blumfeld was a German indie pop band and a prominent representative of the Hamburger Schule movement. The band was formed in 1990 and achieved early success with the release of their 1992 album "Ich-Maschine." This album was notable for its use of German lyrics during a period when English-language lyrics dominated German pop music, echoing a similar linguistic shift during the era of the Neue Deutsche Welle. The band's final studio album, "Verbotene Früchte," marked the end of their recording career.
