There are a few artists called "Blue Shift" 1) Providence daughter / artist Cybelle Collins. Amplified violin and scrape assault. Releases on Night People and Obelisk. 2) a melodic trance producer who released his first track "chronicle" on the 1st of April. 3) A band influenced by Yes and Genesis but other bands come to mind when listening to them, such as Supertramp in terms of vocals and ELP in terms of the keyboards. They are, however more in the vain of the current American prog bands such as Spock’s Beard.
