Spirit Blokovski. Built his views and identity in the matrix of New Belgrade’s concrete jungle. The “blocks,” as they are affectionately called by Belgrade’s residents, served as inspiration for Blokovski’s name, and were his stomping grounds during the hormone-fueled teenage mayhem and stages of his growth, both as an individual and as an artist. The roots of Blokovski's cult status as one of the Serbian hip hop scene's most prolific and poetic artists reach back to 1996, when he recorded his first demo tracks.
