
The Black Missionaries are a reggae band from Malawi, Africa. Primarily active in and around the city of Blantyre. They originally had five members: Evison Matafale, Peter Amidu, and three of the seven sons of Robert Fumulani: Musamude, Anjilu, and Chizondi. Only three of them are still alive. Their leadsinger Evison Matafale died in police custody in 2001. His successor Musamude died in 2007 of TB. They have eight albums, Kuimba I - VIII, and perform in concerts across the country, often singing about love and rastafari issues.
