The motto -- “Rent is due on the 1st not the 5th, bitches.” The founder, Maxx, was a member and lead rapper of The Goats (Ruff House Records; Cypress Hill, The Fugees, Kriss Kross) where he became musically politically motivated and helped write their groundbreaking LP, Tricks of the Shade.
