About Black before Red
Houston high school chums Marc Ferrino and Marc Dickey moved to Austin in the mid-90's to put together what would become Black Before Red. After multiple line-up changes, the Marcs fell in with Kevin Schneider (of Shearwater), Brent Baldwin (of The Normans) and Brian Cassidy (of Okkervil River) to hone a unique style of harmony-laden power-pop.
