About Black Barrel
Black Barrel is an Irish folk group based in Gothenburg, Sweden. They cite The Pogues and The Levellers as their main influences. In addition to coversongs of aforementioned bands, Flogging Molly and traditional tunes, they also play some own material. Most notable is the song "Hans' Ale" which tells the story about how the singer, Hans, gets wasted in a park. Black Barrel contains of: Hans Wigart - vocal, banjo, guitar. Erik Ivarsson - electric guitar.
