About Binki
Binki (Born Baraka Ongari in Pennsylvania) initially became interested in acting as a teenager. After high school, he studied theatre at the University of North Carolina. It was there that he taught himself how to play guitar. He eventually began writing songs, drawing upon an array of influences, including Childish Gambino, Pink Floyd, Tyler, The Creator, and David Bowie, to name a few. He began posting them online and in 2018 released the song Marco on streaming services.
