About Billie Myers
Billie Myers (born 14 June 1971, Coventry, UK) is an English rock singer-songwriter. She is known principally for her 1998 transatlantic hit, "Kiss the Rain" (co-written with Eric Bazilian and Desmond Child). Possessing both the introspective nature of Tracy Chapman and the unbridled spunk of Chrissie Hynde, Myers excels at weaving poetic narratives around starkly honest portraits of her life experiences “reassuringly long on singer-songwriting talent” (The London times).
