Singer-songwriter, Bill Knight layers his authentic contemporary Cape-folk music with poetic lyrics of depth and intensity. This “ Kaapse Mengsel”, written in a characteristic Bredie of English and Kombuistaal, provides a personal but universal insight into the not so ordinary lives of everyday people, drawing strongly on Myth, Legend and Folk- Lore. Bill Knight was born in Lobatse, Botswana, in September 1957,and moved to Cape Town in early 1966.
