About Bill Jones
Bill Jones (born Belinda Jones in Staffordshire) is an English folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (accordion, piano, flute and Irish whistle) based in Sunderland. She won the Horizon (Best Newcomer) Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2001. In 2004 she announced she was taking a break from professional music. She returned to the studio and the live stage in 2019 with a one-off performance at London’s Gresham Centre in February and the release of her fifth album, "Wonderful Fairytale" in May 2019.
