About BIG DADDY MOOCHIN
Big Daddy Moochin formed in 2001, with an aim to pay tribute to the soul-funk classics of the butter funk era (1968-1974), playing predominantly female vocal classics from artists such as Ann Sexton, Mary ‘Queenie’ Lions and Marva Witney. BDM has had an ever-evolving line-up growing and shrinking from gig to gig, but always delivering a high-octane dance floor funk set never to disappoint the crowd. After gigging heavily up and down the country for a couple of years playing every backwater club and seedy funk dive (the way we like them)
