About Berth Idoffs
Berth Idoffs was a Swedish dansband, founded in 1955 by Berth Idoff, Inge Svensson and Kjell Gummesson. The band rapidly became very popular and grew to six members. In 1974 Berth Idoff sold the orchestra, the gigs and the equipment to Conny Nilsson and Göte Färm. In 2000 Conny Nilsson decided to step down and Berth Idoffs son Marcus Idoff took over. The band is a "dansband", which is a Swedish type of schlager, folk music. Berth Idoff died in September 2018.
